A 293-kg (646-lb) Mekong giant catfish, netted in Thailand recently, may be the largest freshwater fish ever found. 06-08-2005 13:13 astonished This is probably the biggest Mekong Giant Catfish (Pangasianodon Gigas) ever caught in Thailand (or Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos)... and this species is probably the earth’s largest freshwater fish!!!
